Hari Vikram Reddy

UPSC International Relations (IR) Mentor | MBBS Graduate | 3× UPSC Prelims + 3× Mains

I am an MBBS graduate and a UPSC Civil Services aspirant who has cleared UPSC Prelims three times and appeared for UPSC Mains three times, with Anthropology as my optional subject.

I teach UPSC International Relations (IR) for GS Paper II with a focus on conceptual clarity, current affairs integration, analytical thinking and answer writing.

My teaching approach is simple:

Concept → Current Affairs → Analysis → Answer

I help students understand complex international issues from an India-centric perspective and develop the ability to convert their understanding into structured, analytical UPSC Mains answers.

Topics covered include:

• India and Neighbourhood
• India–USA
• India–China
• India–Russia
• India–EU
• West Asia
• Indo-Pacific
• Indian Ocean Region
• International Organisations
• Global groupings and alliances
• India's Foreign Policy
• Bilateral and Multilateral Relations
• Current Affairs for IR
• UPSC PYQ analysis
• Mains answer writing
• Introduction–Body–Conclusion approach
• Maps, diagrams, examples and value addition

My UPSC journey has given me first-hand experience of Prelims and Mains preparation. I focus on teaching students how to analyse a topic, identify the demand of a question and present the answer effectively rather than relying on rote memorisation.

I offer personalised 1-to-1 online classes.

My goal is to make International Relations simple, structured, interesting and examination-oriented.
