Souvik Biswas

I am a BS-MS student at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur, with a strong academic foundation in Chemistry, Biology, and interdisciplinary sciences. I have offered home and online tuition since 2023, particularly to school and junior college students aiming to build conceptual clarity in science subjects and improve their performance in competitive exams like NEET/JEE/IAT, and board exams.

My academic journey includes hands-on research experience, poster presentation at IIT Roorkee, and internship training in techniques such as protein purification, NMR theory, and molecular biology. I am also an active team member of iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine), a prestigious global synthetic biology competition where students design and build innovative biological systems to solve real-world problems.

I have also participated in outreach programs where I demonstrated concepts like Boyle’s Law and metal ion detection to students from classes 3–5, making science more accessible and exciting. Making complex topics more straightforward using visual aids, analogies, and interactive discussions.
