One memorable unit involved teaching narrative writing. I began by introducing the key elements of storytelling—setting, characters, plot, conflict, and resolution. To make the lessons engaging, I incorporated multimedia resources, including short films and interactive story-building games. One particular student, who initially struggled with writing, showed significant improvement over the course of the unit. With regular feedback and one-on-one support, he eventually submitted a short story that demonstrated creativity, structure, and strong vocabulary. By setting clear expectations, creating a respectful learning environment, and maintaining consistency, I was able to manage a diverse group of learners effectively. Overall, this teaching experience helped me grow as an educator. It taught me patience, empathy, and the value of building positive relationships with students. It also reinforced my passion for teaching and my commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
