IdentityI am Zeenat Girach. I have always loved to work with kids, before I stepped in to teaching, I was the official stylist for India Kids Fashion Week season 5. My aim at IKFW was to bring out the personality of various children through fashion, that’s exactly what I look forward to do with my teaching too. I am confident that with my experience in the business world and amongst kids, topped by my TEFL training will be of assistance to your institution in achieving your goals.
I earned my TEFL certification after completing an in class 120-hour course. Through my experiences and TEFL studies, I developed critical pedagogic and classroom management skills, along with a passion for teaching English. Soft skill training is an adjacent avenue that I have been trained in with special courses and years of working in the business sector.
I'm equipped with the Communicative Teaching Method, a philosophy that I’m excited to use. I wish to apply this method in the classroom through interactive, student-centered activities that maximize “student talk time.” I scaffold my lessons so that they include pair and group work, as well as movement around the classroom. By engaging students in speaking, grammar, writing, listening, and reading and appealing to diverse learning styles, I help them accuracy and fluency across key skill areas. Similar styles of teaching with a professional curve can be utilized in training corporates and brushing their soft skills.
