Yogesh Varia

I specialize in teaching Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics to students of Classes 11 and 12, as well as Accounting, Business, and Economics for Classes 9 and 10 under the IGCSE curriculum. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of guiding students from diverse academic backgrounds to achieve a deeper understanding and success in these subjects.

I hold a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree with a specialization in Accountancy, complemented by a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and an M.Phil in Commerce. My research during my M.Phil focused on mutual funds, which has enhanced my expertise and academic rigor in the field of commerce.

Currently, I serve as a lecturer at a reputed college in Mumbai, where I teach Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics. Alongside my college responsibilities, I also offer part-time tuition to provide personalized guidance tailored to the needs of individual students, helping them strengthen their conceptual understanding and practical skills.

Throughout my academic career, I have published research papers in reputed journals and have delivered talks on All India Radio. These experiences have refined my communication skills and allowed me to develop effective voice modulation techniques, ensuring engaging and impactful teaching sessions.

I am flexible in conducting both online and offline classes, offering individual or group sessions depending on the student’s preference. My teaching methodology follows a structured lesson plan customized for each student, ensuring clarity and steady progression in learning.

To enhance learning, I use Excel sheet presentations to illustrate practical accounting concepts and problem-solving techniques, enabling students to better visualize and grasp financial data. Additionally, I incorporate PowerPoint presentations (PPTs) to explain key concepts in an organized and visually appealing manner.

I provide well-structured notes drawn from standard government textbooks and Cambridge curriculum materials, designed to simplify complex topics and aid effective revision. My goal is to equip students with the tools and confidence necessary to excel academically and beyond.
