I am a qualified teacher with over five years’ experience teaching Biology and Integrated Science, and a strong academic background that includes a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research from Imperial College London and a PGCE from the University of Cambridge. I have taught KS3, GCSE and A Level Biology, including AQA and OCR, in leading UK independent schools, with a proven track record of supporting students to achieve strong outcomes while developing genuine understanding and confidence.

My teaching is inquiry-driven and highly interactive. I design online lessons that encourage to ask questions, test ideas and think aloud — because how students question reveals how they are thinking, and where misconceptions lie. I focus on equipping learners with the tools and habits of scientific thinking so they can tackle unfamiliar problems independently, rather than relying on rote methods. This approach translates particularly well to live-streamed teaching, where clarity, pacing and engagement are essential.
