Smt. Unnati Vora is a dedicated Kathak artist and educator with decades of experience in the field of Indian classical dance. Deeply rooted in the traditional aesthetics and discipline of Kathak, her artistic journey reflects a lifelong commitment to preserving, practicing, and teaching this timeless dance form with sincerity and grace.
Known for her expressive abhinaya, rhythmic precision, graceful movements, and strong command over traditional Kathak repertoire, she has trained numerous students across different age groups with patience, warmth, and individual attention. Her teaching approach emphasizes not only technical excellence, but also confidence, cultural understanding, discipline, and artistic expression.
Smt. Unnati Vora has presented Kathak performances at various prestigious cultural events organized by Aadi Shakti Sangeet Kala Kendra in Mumbai and Dubai under the esteemed guidance of Guru Shri Atitkumar. She has also attended advanced Kathak workshops conducted by the legendary Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj Ji and had the honour of assisting in his workshop at Aadi Shakti Sangeet Kala Kendra, Dubai.
Through KathakUnnati, she strives to create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where students can experience the beauty of rhythm, storytelling, expression, and tradition through Kathak. Her vision is to make authentic Kathak training accessible to students globally while preserving the essence and dignity of Indian classical dance.
In addition to her extensive work in Kathak, Smt. Unnati Vora holds formal qualifications in Indian Classical Vocal Music, Bhav Sangeet, Bharatnatyam, and instrumental music. She has also served with All India Radio, Rajkot and Vividh Bharati Service, All India Radio, Mumbai over an illustrious professional career spanning several years.
