IdentitySwanand Kala Prasarak Kendra was founded by Kathak Nritya Alankar, Mrs. Swati Sandeep Kolle in 2006 in Thane (Mumbai). We are extremely glad and proud to see that our dream has come true.
Looking at the success of the Nritya Kendra where we have more than 600 students learning the art form Kathak, we dedicate this achievement to our Guru as well as our parents. We also thank all the people who showed their support and love to our Nritya Kendra. With the blessings of our Guru, Parents and all the people who supported us, our Swanand Kala Prasarak Kendra is standing tall and gracefully spreading the knowledge.
The main aims of Swanand Kala Prasarak Kendra are:
- To spread the awareness of kathak art form and replicate the knowledge to as many people as we can
- To sustain guru - shishya tradition
- To retain the purity of kathak
- To make knowledgeable and better audience
- To create fine artists, well-versed with the art form and its importance.
