I am a Lawyer and work as an in house legal associate with an Ed-Tech Company. I have completed my post-graduation in International Dispute Settlement (LLM) at MIDS in Geneva, Switzerland in September 2014. I have done my LLB degree from Northumbria University (UK). I did a Diploma in International Arbitration from Brickfields Asia College in collaboration with The Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators. In this course, I scored 81%, which put me in 1 of the 5 toppers of the class.
Although I followed the legal profession, teaching has always been my passion and thus, I started teaching as a part timer at a language center (Global language center) in Kuala Lumpur while pursuing my degree. This is where my passion captivated me and led me to do a Diploma in Teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) by the London Teacher Training College. In this course, I scored a Grade ‘A’ Distinction, which was the highest score of my intake. Furthermore, I have also done a Diploma is Public Relations from London School of Public Relations (LSPR) where I scored the highest in the whole class attaining a 73% (merit). I did Public Relations because I believed that this would further enhance my teaching abilities and allow me to connect with my students while building a good bond.
