I was a student of "Bani Chakra" music training school of Kolkata.I was trained by 1)Mr. Pradyut Banerjee, an eminent guitarist of Kolkata and associated with HMV studio 2) Jazz maestro Late Carlton Kitto for at least 5 years.
Experience-1) Attached with STM cassette company,Kolkata.Two album-Avatar and Maina(for children), performed by me as a singer were published by the said company in 2001 and 2006 respectively.
2)I have performed as a guitarist as well as a singer at different stages.performance as a guitarist at silver odia music award and performance as a singer and guitarist at Rabindra Sadan ,Kolkata at the silver jubilee program of STM Company Kolkata in the presence of deputy high commissioner of Bangladesh both in the year 2013 are most remarkable.
3)I hv performances as an arranger,singer and guitarist which can be seen on YouTube channel "SOMDATTA OFFICIAL".The songs are completely new in regional language(in Bengali).
