I am a Special Educator with 10 years of personal and professional experience, dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs through individualized education plans and strategies. My teaching is grounded in the principles of the Individualized Education Program (IEP), which ensures that each child receives tailored support to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment is at the heart of my work.

I hold a B.Ed. in Special Education and am an RCI-approved Special Educator, certified by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Alongside my professional qualifications, I have also completed a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology, which adds depth to my understanding of scientific and developmental concepts. These academic foundations, combined with my passion for teaching, allow me to bring both knowledge and empathy into my sessions.

I specialize in working with students who have Learning Disabilities (LD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD). Over the past 2 years, I have designed and implemented Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address the unique strengths and challenges of each student. Through these tailored plans, I have helped students improve their attention, focus, academic performance, and classroom behavior.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work has been watching children who once struggled in mainstream classrooms gain confidence, independence, and motivation. Each success story, whether it is a student answering confidently in class or developing better social skills, reinforces my belief in the power of personalized teaching. I also collaborate closely with parents and school staff, ensuring that the support given to the child in class continues seamlessly at home and in school environments.

My teaching methodology is highly interactive and child-centered. I always begin by understanding each child’s learning style, strengths, and areas of need before designing lessons. In my offline sessions, I emphasize hands-on activities, games, visual aids, and practical examples, as I believe children learn best by doing. In online sessions, I make use of PPTs, whiteboards, and engaging digital tools to keep students actively involved.

Each of my classes follows a clear structure: a lesson plan based on the IEP, academic content balanced with skill-building activities, continuous feedback, and strategies for attention-building and behavior management. By making the sessions both educational and enjoyable, I ensure that students remain motivated while also making consistent progress.

For me, every student is unique, and my role as an educator is to provide them with the right support, patience, and flexibility to help them achieve their goals. Special education is not just about teaching academics—it’s about empowering children to grow in confidence, independence, and self-belief. That is the journey I strive to create for each of my students.
