Sharda G.

I have always had a genuine love for teaching and helping others learn. I was a Teach For India Fellow, where I received formal exposure to teaching pedagogy, lesson planning, classroom management, and student-centric learning approaches. This experience gave me a strong foundation in understanding how to structure lessons, simplify concepts, and adapt my teaching approach to different learning needs.

Beyond my formal teaching experience, I have also personally taught my two children through Grade 10 under the ICSE curriculum. This has given me hands-on experience in explaining concepts, building strong fundamentals, encouraging curiosity, and making learning practical and engaging.

My science background has further shaped my approach to teaching. I naturally tend to be systematic and methodological—I like to break complex concepts into smaller, logical steps and build understanding progressively rather than relying on rote learning.

Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy teaching. I find it rewarding to see a learner move from confusion to clarity and develop the confidence to solve problems independently.
