Sambodhi Career Academy was founded in 2005 by Mr. Mangesh Dnyaneshwar Borkar, a renowned Competitive Examination Coach and Motivational Trainer. He could start this Academy because he himself had a first hand experience of UPSC - Civil Services MAINs Examination, UPSC and Staff Selection Interview. He is a well Learned & Visionary person having graduation in Instrumentation Engineering, he has also pursued post graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism, Masters and NET in History. During his own struggle for UPSC - Civil Services Exam he didn't find any suitable Mentor or Institution in Maharashtra where he could get proper Guidance. After gaining enough experience of UPSC- MAINs and Interview he started imparting coaching to the students in and around his rural area for Competitive Exams. His passion is to produce highly motivated, visionary Civil Servants from across the rural-urban INDIA.
An educational Activity which he started at the cost of his own Best career with the social spirit eventually converted into a MISSION and thus laid the foundation of SAMBODHI CAREER ACADEMY in Nagpur District of Maharashtra. In 2006, Mr. Mangesh Borkar moved to Mumbai and since then he, along with few well experienced and dedicated friends has been Imparting coaching especially in Mumbai, Thane and Konkan region of Maharashtra. Our successful students are also carrying on this noble mission of producing socially concerned officers at different states of India. They are organising various activities supportive to preparation of Competitive Exams.
Many Friends and Further students associated with this study group got selected through UPSC-MPSC-BANK-STAFF SELECTION Exams Since 2005.Moreover since its inception and over this time period So many Senior most and retired IAS/IPS & other officers participated into socio-educational activities of Academy for imparting best exam oriented coaching, professional guidance, motivation and confidence to students. To name few here are Mr. Kishore Gajbhiye (IAS-Ex Secretary Social Justice Dept.), Mr. Rajesh Dhabre (IRS-Additional Commissioner Customs, Mumbai), Dr. Avinashkumar (IAS, EX-Additional Chief Secretary Gujrat and presently Sr. Advisor to IMF), Mr. Shukracharya Jadhav(IRS-Joint Commissioner Income Tax), Mr. S. S. Shinde (Joint Commissioner BMC, Mumbai), Mr. Shrirang Kamble (IES, Dy. Chief Engineer Central Railway), Mr. Gorkash Jagtap (IRPS), Mr. Vivek Savle (Dy. Commissioner Sales Tax, Mumbai), Mr. Sunil Dhamne (Dy. Municipal Commissioner, BMC), Mr. Vilas Gangavane (PI, twice President Medal Winner for best service to Police dept., Nehrunagar-Kurla), and many other senior officers.
With these dedicated Missionary efforts of Team Sambodhi more than 130 students have cracked tough nut of UPSC (Civil Services), UPSC-CPF, UPSC-APFC, MPSC-State Services exams and now they are working in Indian and State Administration at Key Posts as Gr.-A officers. Most Impressive achievement of Sambodhi is that, many of Our students have qualified UPSC (CIVIL SERVICES EXAM) in very first attempt at very young age of 24 years, to name few are -Dr. Pravin Mundhe (IPS-2010) Maharashtra Cadre, Dr. Prasad Waghmare (IAS-2010) Jharkhand Cadre and Mr.Jay Waghmare (UPSC-2013-14). Many other students have also succeeded through MPSC-State services Exam, Bank and Staff Selection exams at early age. Moreover Hundreds of our students who were in search of secured and responsible Jobs have qualified Staff selection commission's UGCL and CGL exams, IBPS (Clerk-PO-MT-Specialist Officers) exam, MPSC (PSI-STI-Mantralaya Assistant) exam, Central police organisation's PSI Exam, LIC-DO-AAO, GIC/RRB/RBI etc exams. Till date we have succeeded in our aim of pulling students from Rural, Sub-urban and urban areas of Maharashtra into lucrative, responsible key government services for socio-economic-ethical transformation of INDIA.
Our Mission has now reached different corners of Maharashtra with the help of like minded social-educational organisations. Mr. Mangesh D. Borkar has delivered more than 700 inspirational competitive exams lectures at different places in Maharashtra. He has motivated more than 1.25 lakhs students for UPSC/MPSC/BANK/SSC exams through his speeches. His articles are regularly published in the esteemed newspapers of Maharashtra like Sakal (Every Monday), weekly Maharastra Rojgar Vrutta" (Every Wednesday) and other newspapers like Economic Times, Lokmat, Prahar, Samrat, Mahanayak etc. His articles on education and competitive exams have proved immensely helpful for students eyeing on competitive exams.
Sambodhi is entirely different from other institutions, here we put emphasis on the evolution of best human personality, we want to produce responsible, cosmopolitan, enlightened, socially concerned Indian Citizen having scientific approach as Gr.-A officer to run successfully the administration of country. Along with our social commitments we are highly professional in completing exam oriented syllabus for various Exams. At our Thane(East), Parel, Mumbai Branches we provides FREE library and study room facility to students along with Coaching for PRELIMs-MAINs-INTERVIEW stages. We pay personnel attention on every student as we deliberately put a batch of 30-35 students considering ISO Norms and Best Result oriented Preparation of student. All our faculties are well experienced having their own first hand experience of MAINs and Interviews, we also have a group of guest faculties who are working at higher level of administration. Our CLASS NOTES are unchallengeable, which completes the need of study material as per the entire new pattern of exam. Our regular feedback-revision sessions and test series are quite useful for the Exhaustive preparation.
