I am an educator with a strong interest in making learning meaningful, engaging, and student-centric. My journey into teaching has been shaped by both classroom experience and a creative professional background, which allows me to bring a unique perspective to education. I currently teach students from the age group of 6 to 17 years and focus on building clarity, confidence, and curiosity in learners.

I have 2 years of experience teaching in a school environment along with 10 months of tutoring experience. Before transitioning fully into teaching, I worked for 3 years as a Graphic Designer and Video Editor. This professional exposure has greatly influenced my teaching style, enabling me to use visuals, storytelling, and digital tools to make concepts easier to understand and more relatable for students.

My academic background includes a B.A. in Sociology, an M.A. in Electronic Media, and a B.Ed. in History and English. I have also qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in January 2024 and completed an additional B.A. in English and Geography. This diverse academic foundation helps me approach subjects with depth, context, and interdisciplinary understanding.

I strongly believe that learning should not be limited to textbooks alone. My classes are interactive and activity-based, incorporating storytelling, discussions, videos, animations, and creative tasks to keep students actively involved. I adapt my teaching methods based on the student’s age, learning pace, and subject requirements to ensure effective understanding.

I conduct both group and individual offline sessions and place a strong emphasis on personal attention. I use reference books, structured notes, regular tests, and practice exercises to track progress and reinforce learning. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their thoughts.

Alongside teaching, I value creativity and expression, which is reflected in my achievements. I have secured awards in poster design, writing, and documentary filmmaking, including recognition at the Bangalore Shorts Film Festival. These experiences continue to inspire my approach to education, where I aim to nurture not just academic skills but also creativity, communication, and confidence in every student I teach.
