I am an entry-level mental health professional currently working as a school counsellor at Aseema Charitable Trust. I have also worked as a teaching assistant on a contract basis at the University of Mumbai. In addition, I have experience as a crisis counsellor at Vandrevala Foundation and as a therapist at PsyQuench. I have also tutored CBSE 12th grade students, primarily focusing on doubt-solving sessions, concept clarity, and exam-oriented preparation.

I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mumbai and have received training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Therapies, Grief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

I have strong conceptual clarity in psychology and focus on simplifying complex topics so that they are easier to understand and retain. I pay close attention to students’ doubts and concerns and adapt my explanations based on their level of understanding. I also emphasise answer writing and structuring responses, which is important for performing well in CBSE board examinations.

Through my academic and practical experience, I am able to connect theoretical concepts with real-life examples, making the subject more engaging and relatable. My work in counselling settings has helped me develop patience, active listening skills, and a non-judgmental approach, allowing students to feel comfortable asking questions and expressing difficulties.

I have also qualified the UGC NET examination, which has strengthened my theoretical foundation in psychology.
