On 'The Spiritual' is a community of young seekers who have under the guidance of various Enlightened Masters, come together to share their techniques and experiences of the spiritual journey. She has over 15 years of experience teaching young seekers from age group 12-40 years. The sky was trained under the guidance of a Realized One.

"I am enjoying the early morning meditation classes very much. It sets up the day and it's rare, in a city like Bombay, to get a chance to meditate outdoors. Sky is a lovely teacher - she explains the theory (or perhaps philosophy?) behind chakras and the purpose of each technique we are doing very simply so it's easy to understand. "

"I lived in Mumbai for two years and my encounter with On The Spiritual was the highlight of my experience in India. It not only gave me strength when I needed it, but it has stayed with me since I often draw on what I learned from them now that I am an ocean (or two!) away. There's so much sincerity in On the Spiritual's approach that it makes you want to give your very best and be committed to the journey. I am so glad I met them. From one one workshop to another, from a meditation by the waves morning to private sessions, it's been a beautiful path. "

"How do you start a meditation habit?" in   Health and Fitness/Yoga

Rakshada, a meditation habit can begin with a glass of water. When you drink the water, focus only on the act of drinking, try not to think of anything except the water entering your mouth, moving down from the throat into the stomach. Try to be in that moment. "How do you deal with an awakened kundalini that is pointed downward? How can I re-point it upwards?" in   Health and Fitness/Yoga

An awakened kundalini can only move upwards, it descends down only if our thoughts and actions are more negative than positive. To maintain an upward rise, once must try to transform one's thought patterns from negative to positive along with supporting meditation techniques. Warm Regards, On 'The Spiritual'

"I've been experiencing tremendous pain in my hamstrings since I've started Bikram Yoga. What should I Do?" in   Health and Fitness/Yoga

Hi Soujanya, any kind of yoga must be learnt under the guidance of an accomplished teacher who has acquired his/her learning from the lineage of an Enlightened Being. Yoga is geared towards the opening up of our being so light may find its way in the most rigid areas of the physical , vital and mental. Often we hear of people doing more damage to their bodies than good. Please ensure you take time to research an initiated teacher. In the mean time, take rest, allow your body to return to normal. Also try to understand the main reason you are learning yoga. Often the premise for our taking the step is not sound as a result of which we find the body resists positive transformation. Take care.
