Here's a little about me:
I bring an authentic combination of academic depth and real-world application approach to tutoring. I have dedicated hours upon hours learning Psychology and Languages. As a psychotherapist, researcher, and poet, I’ve spent years exploring not just theories in books but also lived experiences. I hold a Master’s degree in Lifespan Counselling and have worked in both school and clinical settings. My role often involved simplifying psychological concepts for young minds and guiding them through emotional and academic challenges.

Additionally, my love for languages goes beyond grammar and essays. I use literature and storytelling as tools for expression, connection, and critical thinking. My experience as a writer and student of different languages allows me to tailor language instruction to personal needs, whether it’s academic writing, listening to one's creative voice, or building confidence in communication.

I’ve also volunteered as a tutor at a children’s shelter (2 months) and taught English to students of std 5th-9th at tution classes (3 years). All this while I learned that patience, humor, and empathy are just as important as subject knowledge. Whether I’m teaching Freud or figurative language, I focus on making learning meaningful, engaging, inclusive and empowering.
