Naseem K.

I am a Counseling Psychologist . She completed a course to counsel Covid
19 Pandemic patients in July 2020.She completed her master’s in counseling psychology from SNDT. (acronym for Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey) Women’ s University, Mumbai (in May 2011)
and Graduation from Mithibai College, Mumbai (July 2008) with a majors in Psychology. She is currently working for Aditya Birla group's Mpower as a Senior Counseling Psychologist. Naseem’ s repertoire of work includes working across age groups, with varied socio economic
backgrounds and handling issues that need clinical and personal support – to individuals, couples, families and Geriatric populations. She reaches out to Geriatric people find intellectual companionship, counseling them and running caregiver programs for them. She has worked with other support groups too. She conducted webinars to reach out to masses
during the Covid Pandemic to enable them to manage their stress.
She has worked with leading Psychologists and Psychiatrists across Mumbai, as a Senior Psychologist
at Goel rehabilitation centre and as a Psychologist at Masina hospital. She has specifically handled
issues of adjustment, addiction, depression, suicide, personality issues among other psychological
disorders.
While working at empowering individuals with interpersonal and intrapersonal skills - she has been
actively involved in marital and couple counseling and has also been privileged to interact and work
with gay, lesbian and transgender community.
She extended support to women students in the Preschool space to become independent and earn a
living, to teenage students at ITM Centre. She has also worked with TATA Cancer Hospital for
Children, to provide support to children and their families. She also associated with Mind Mantra as
a Senior Psychologist.
In the Corporate sector, she was part of a consultancy formed for the purpose of providing
organisations a sustainable learning and development program to have happy individuals and hence
happy staff. She has individually, worked with a corporate to design an employee development
program.
Not many know - her leanings to empower individuals to maximise their strengths started early. She
was the district Rotaract representative (2012-13) and was heading over 90 youth clubs and 3100
youth members across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Ulhasnagar Districts. She has closely
worked with more than 100 NGOs and schools whilst at Rotary and after that.
Naseem stays committed to empower and support individuals to maximise their strengths and build
their interpersonal and intrapersonal skill set, through individual and group interactions.
