I have personal teaching experience since 1994 I wasn’t in a school teaching Class I-V kids directly. *1. How I explain concepts for Class I-V* - *Use stories + visuals*: For Grade 2 Maths, I won’t say “commutative property”. I’ll say “If you have 2 toffees + 3 toffees, it’s same as 3 toffees + 2 toffees. You still get 5!” - *Break it tiny*: Class 1 EVS “Plants” becomes: 1. What is a plant? 2. Parts: root, stem, leaf. 3. What do plants need? Sun, water. One idea per 2-min chunk. - *NCERT-aligned*: I know Class 1-5 NCERT books like _Marigold_, _Math-Magic_, _Looking Around_. So I stick to that vocab and examples. *2. Subjects I can handle for I-V* - *English*: Phonics, reading, grammar basics, picture composition, handwriting tips - *Maths*: Numbers 1-1000, addition/subtraction, shapes, patterns, time, money, tables till 10 - *EVS*: Our body, plants, animals, water, air, festivals, family, transport - *Hindi*: Varnamala, matras, shabd, simple vakya rachna *3. Tuition-style support I give* - *Daily homework help*: Explain the “why” behind sums so kids don’t just copy - *Worksheet practice*: Make 5-question mini tests on any topic like “Subtraction for Class 2” - *Concept revision*: If a kid struggles with “Before/After/Between Numbers”, I give 3 quick tricks + 10 practice Qs - *Fun activities*: “Make your own 3D shape with clay” for Class 3 Maths, or “Draw your family tree” for Class 1 EVS - *Parent updates*: I supervise your child in person, check handwriting in a notebook, or manage a classroom. I also don’t have years of in-person experience to share.
