I have been teaching Bharatanatyam for over seven years, and my passion for this classical dance form continues to grow every day. I hold a Master’s degree in Bharatanatyam, which has provided me with a strong academic and practical foundation. My training encompasses both the traditional techniques and theoretical understanding of this beautiful art.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of various ages and skill levels. Many of them have shown remarkable progress, which motivates me to continually refine my teaching methods. I have received certificates recognizing my dedication, participation in workshops, and performances, reflecting my commitment to lifelong learning in Bharatanatyam.
My classes are conducted both online and offline, and I follow a structured approach that begins with warm-up exercises and basic adavus (steps). I gradually introduce more complex lessons, combining theory and practice in every session. I strive to keep my classes interactive and enjoyable, making it easier for students to absorb and appreciate the nuances of this classical dance form.
I believe that learning Bharatanatyam is not only about mastering steps but also about understanding its cultural and spiritual significance. Therefore, I integrate storytelling, expressions, and rhythm into my teaching to provide a holistic experience.
Seeing my students develop confidence, grace, and an appreciation for this art brings me immense joy. I look forward to continuing my journey as a teacher and helping more learners experience the beauty and discipline of Bharatanatyam.
