I am a teacher, researcher and project manager working in the area of Geographic Information System (GIS) since last 14 years.
I am interested to teach principles of Geography to students because I found that there will be a boom in GIS job market in coming years due to launching of many satellites in Space and also due to Govt. India space policies in place.
Hence, to apply GIS one needs a strong fundamentals of Geography, which I found lacking in people joining this work force. So I decided not only to teach Geography but also GIS and Satellite Remote Sensing basics on line of Indian Space Research Organization's idea of 'catch them young' to generate interest in students on Space Applications area early im school days itself.
