Chinmays Fitness Academy

We are a Dance & Fitness studio by the name of The Soul Studio, located in Andheri West. We have created a unique Fitness Routine by the name of Folka™ Fitness which is inspired by Indian Folk Dances and day to day village activities like using hand pump, sowing seeds, drawing water from well etc which have been converted into Fitness steps performed on Fun Folk'y' music.

We have incorporated folk dances from various states of India like Bihu from Assam, Bhangra from Punjab, Garba from Gujarat, Kalbeliya from Rajasthan, etc.

We have been receiving very positive and overwhelming response from all age groups, especially kids and hence we have now diversified the Folka™Fitness form customized according to age groups:
a) Folka Basic - All age groups
b) Folka Junior - For kids between 6-12 years of age
c) Folka Senior - For adults above the age of 45 years

The purpose is to introduce Indian Folk Culture to today's generation in an interesting and fun way.
