Belly Dance Institute Mumbai by Ritambhara Sahni is Mumbai's 1st ever belly dance established since 2005. All aspects in belly dancing are covered which are the various belly dance styles and fusions.One can learn 20 levels & 12 levels in tribal belly dance fusion. All courses are certificate courses. Centers-Colaba, Khar[W] and Andheri[W] . Ritambhara Sahni - the founder, initially use to and still runs Ritambhara Sahni's Institute For the Performing arts ever[since 1996 ]. An extremely knowledgeable & experienced teacher who also teaches dance forms like Urban Hip Hop [old school and new style], Contemporary, The Tap dance, Flamenco and many more free style dance forms.
The aim and mission of the institute has always been to change the view point about belly dance, spread the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual benefits of this beautiful dance art and also to teach belly dance to each and every female who is fascinated by this dance form ,irrespective of any age, shape or size.
The beginner's Course duration is 3 months & one would learn 3 levels in belly dancing.- Introductory-basic-Intermediate. You are welcome to attend as many practice classes, even go to the other centers & practice & the institute also gives you an extended time frame to complete your course.
The institute also has professional courses where one could aspire to be a professional belly dance artist, a professional belly dance instructor or even a professional belly dance choreographer
