I have one year of teaching experience at Yogi’s Classes, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, where I taught History and Marathi to Class 10 students. This private coaching centre provided a focused learning environment, allowing me to understand students individually and help them improve academically. Teaching History helped me develop new ways of explaining events, timelines, and concepts through stories and real-life connections. I made sure students understood not just the facts but the reasons behind historical developments, which increased their interest in the subject. In Marathi, I focused on grammar, writing skills, and literature. I encouraged students to practice essay writing, comprehension, and grammar exercises regularly. Many students initially lacked confidence in writing, but with continuous guidance and feedback, they gradually improved. I also used simple examples and classroom discussions to make the lessons engaging. Throughout the year, I regularly interacted with parents and kept them updated about their child’s progress. Seeing students gain confidence, score better marks, and develop a stronger understanding of both subjects was extremely fulfilling. This one-year experience at Yogi’s Classes strengthened my teaching skills, improved my communication, and gave me a deeper sense of responsibility as an educator.
