Aprajita S.

I am a trained Hindustani classical vocalist with over ten years of experience in the music industry in India and now Canada. I completed her Bachelors in Music performance in 2019 and recently finished my Masters in Music Therapy program at Concordia University. I continue to train in north Indian classical music with her guru Smt Asha Subramaniam from Kirana Gharana who is currently based in Mumbai. I teach both North Indian Classical style of singing to beginner and intermediate level and western music (jazz, rock and pop) from beginner to advance. I am now using my Indian classical training to explore music therapy techniques for children and adolescents with mental health needs to support their clinical needs, and improve their overall quality of life.
