I have been in the field of Remedial teaching for over 15 years but I was a student Counselor before I made the shift to special education .
I joined SNDT and did a diploma in Management of LD and then did a 6 month child study in Arya Vidya Mandir ,Bandra . Later, I worked in a clinic with a Clinical Psychologist for 5 years.. When i noticed I enjoyed working with children who needed attention and an IEP plan .i decided I should work on my own on a one to one level.
I then started taking classes from home . I am teaching children between the age of 7-17 and am proud to say that every child has shown great improvement and promise.
I just trained 2 students for their IELTS and their scores were so good they got admission in colleges of their choice.
I have taught and am teaching students from
Bombay Scottish,Mahim, Arya Vidya Mandir, Avabhai Petit Bandra, Podar International , Billabong and NM School ,Juhu.

As a mother I was very worried about my child but kudos to Anita Mam, she has groomed my child to such high standards with her tutoring, her caring attitude for the child to do well, her dedication, her exceptional knowledge of English makes the child understand difficult Shakespeare's Plays with such simplicity for the child to retain it. I teach children from ICSE/ISC schools and between the ages of 7-17 years. I cover Grammar, Prose, Poetry , Shakespeare and all other topics covered by the syllabus. Have trained students for IELTS and their band scores have been higher than expected. many of my students have remained with me for a number of years as they became comfortable with my teaching methods.

i have a lot of experience in handling children from 7-17 years as my years as a student counsellor in Bombay Scottish school has exposed me to a lot. I am able to handle the most difficult cases as i understand how each student functions and accordingly deal with each one differently. It is so heartening to see huge improvement on all fronts.. a very gratifiying journey for me. I truly enjoy what i do.
