Andrea M.

I am an experienced English educator with over eight years of teaching experience across international schools and higher education. My expertise lies in the International Baccalaureate (IBDP), Cambridge IGCSE English Language and World Literature, AS Level English, and undergraduate communication and literature courses.

Currently, I teach IB Diploma Programme English Language & Literature, and IGCSE First Language English, where I mentor students through Individual Orals, Extended Essays, Coursework, and examination preparation and a bit of Theory of Knowledge as well. Throughout my career, I have been committed to fostering critical thinking, effective communication, and a genuine appreciation for literature through engaging, student-centred teaching practices.

In addition to classroom teaching, I have extensive experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment design, and creating innovative educational resources. I have also served as an Assistant Professor, teaching Business Communication, English Literature, Content Writing, and Communication Skills at the undergraduate level, which strengthened my ability to teach learners from diverse academic backgrounds.

Academically, I hold a Master's degree in English Literature with Research, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Education. I have completed IB professional development and Cambridge educator training and have published research in the fields of literature, marketing, and digital communication.

I am passionate about creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that inspire students to become confident communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners. I enjoy collaborating with colleagues, embracing innovative teaching approaches, and continuously developing my professional practice to provide the highest quality education.
