I am mother, wife, house maker, certified Bharatnatyam Dancer and Yoga Instructor.
I have been a part of the corporate world for 15+years. I have had successful stints with many well known Indian companies. While I enjoyed working a lot, I always thought something was amiss. I found myself looking forward to both personal and professional events where I could showcase my creative side. Eventually in oct 2017, I quit my corporate job to pursue my own passion.
At a very young age I realized that I had a great inclination towards dance. I started training to be a certified bharatnatyam dancer from the age of 12. I am still on my journey to complete my certification but the lack of an expert credential hasnâ??t stopped me from practicing Bharatnatyam throughout these years. I also teach other dance forms to young kids to help them and me keep our creative side alive.
Post my last corporate stint, I completed my yoga certification from The Yoga Institute in Dec 2017. Since then, through the medium of Yoga I started transforming the lives of many, including mine. For me Yoga helps sustain the beauty of oneâ??s mind and body. it helps you get intouch with your own conscious if done regularly and dedicatedly. It has anchored several transformation journeys on a Physical, mental, emotional & spiritual level. Personally Yoga has helped balance my body and emotions.
I conduct classes at my residence for anyone interested in learning dance or yoga. In my class, I feel an individualâ??s body is my responsibility, hence my prime focus is on proper postures, quality performance with playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help individual deepen their practice. I seek to help others by nurturing body, mind and soul with Yoga and my hope is that individual feel nourished, balanced, strong and flexible both on & off the mat.
