I am an Alumna of SP Jain School of Global Management, Mumbai and have graduated in the year 2021. By profession I am a Chartered Accountant. Recently I have completed PHD in Microfinance. My total work experience is close to 21 years out of which 14 years in different MNCs. Since 2018, I have co-founded a company which works on making e-commerce simple for products which help in maintaining health and harmony in the environment. More specifically, the company supports small enterprises and farmers which are working on millet and healthy food products.
My professional journey spans Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) roles at multinational firms such as Siemens Ltd., Honeywell, Tata AIG, and Cummins. These experiences have provided me with a deep foundation in Accounting, strategic planning, and Financial modeling. After completing my Executive MBA from SP Jain, I transitioned toward work that aligns more closely with my passion for community development and inclusive entrepreneurship. I am also an Independent Director in couple of companies.
As the founder of Induskargha (www.induskargha.com), I work at the intersection of rural enterprise and sustainable development—collaborating with artisans and farmers to create market-ready, eco-friendly products. I’ve also worked as a consultant with PWC Advisory Services and mentored hundreds of rural women, helping them understand market dynamics and build scalable small business ventures.
My academic interests are rooted in practice; I recently completed a PhD in Microfinance, conducting fieldwork across rural Madhya Pradesh. This research not only evaluated the impact of financial inclusion but also explored pathways for women in self-help groups to transition from informal work to structured business models.
I believe my dual perspective grounded in both corporate experience and grassroots enterprises, enables me to contribute uniquely especially in bridging theory with actionable insights. I am enthusiastic about nurturing future leaders who understand both financial systems and the socio-economic realities of diverse markets.
