I have been teaching dance since 2012. I hold a Diploma in Baratnatyam and diplomas in Garba and Contemporary dance styles. My goal as a dance instructor is to teach people how to dance in the simplest ways so that they can become skilled dancers. I initially started teaching Garba; over time, I expanded my repertoire to include other dance forms. I have also had the opportunity to choreograph performances for schools, universities, and events in my local community. In recognition of my skills, I was honoured with an intercollege dance award.
I teach various dance styles, including hip hop, contemporary, Baratnatyam, Garba, sangeeth choreography, and even Zumba. I provide online and offline classes, each lasting one hour. I conduct classes twice a week to ensure regular and consistent learning for my students.
My teaching approach is highly interactive, and I encourage active participation from my students. Practical sessions are crucial for a comprehensive understanding of dance, so I incorporate plenty of hands-on activities in my classes. To facilitate online learning, I utilise the Zoom platform, which allows for seamless communication and virtual engagement.
