I have teaching experience of total 12 years and in that five years I taught English language and literature in an ICSE school. All these years I taught spoken English for primary, higher primary and high school students by implementing all the modules of spoken English. My all classes included listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. I believe in the above skills in improving English among students.. I encourage my learners to read veriety of books and newspapers to improve their speaking and writing skills.. Most of my classes even include audio visual bits to engage my learners and to learn something new everyday. Since English is global language we need to understand the need of the language in present day and have to inculcate the language with gentle practice and implementation. Activities like elocution, extempore, word building, debate competitions etc are the ones those contribute a lot to improve learners speaking skills. So in my classes these are the activities included to groom my learners. I'm happy that evn today I receive very good feedback from my learners that they are doing excellent in their higher studies with their wonderful communication skills what they acquired from previous classes. So it's not a single day effort to achieve excellency in speaking but it's a continuous process of learning and improving by adopting all four skills in learners everyday life. No matter whichever the learning group or individual I keep my class interesting and enthusiastic one.
