It is general but highly useful functions that every Excel maestro should know are as follows. Index+ Match for doing lookups are more efficient and versatile than VLOOKUP, allowing nifty data retrieval stuff. Next comes VLOOKUP, when used correctly as not over 550000 rows calculating file, this function is a handy tool for data manipulation. SUMPRODUCT is the function that allows arrays as arguments which can be very useful for some advanced constructs. Adding to this learning, the feature of conditional formatting makes viewing tables much more digestible to see. With this feature, you can make the cells have varying colour in a gradient depending on the value in the cell. Learning Pivot table can be of great help too. I hope this helps! read less
