VBA is also a part of excel you can do a lot of automation works, schedulings, daily tasks, scraping data from websites sending emails, working with files and folders, creating or renaming files or folders lot of works even you can convert the image into text using VBA scripts. Apart from that you will be having addins where you can get special accessibility of the excel like you don't have formulas like regular expressions. With the help of addins you will get regex functions and formulas in excel. Excel also have a userforms where you can create an application and create nice dashboards and software also. An Excel Software for POS, with following functionalities:

  1. It should have an "Open List" for capturing product related information.
  2. It should have automatic bill numbering
  3. It should have Printable bill
  4. It should have a customer database form and recording
