You have a daily task which includes knowledge in financial models, valuations etc. For example, if you consider Vllookup, it is a function which is very easy to learn. But just learning Vlookup will not help, we need to make use of the IF function or other functions as well according to your specifications. So, you need to get professional training in the advanced topics of Excel. Advanced Excel topics include various concepts like creating pitch decks, financial models, pivots and many more. As an investment banker, you will have a lot of work to do with evaluating companies, creating financial models for the clients and so on and so forth, so having advanced Excel skills is a need. You can join an institute and take professional training or can also learn online by referring to different websites and Youtube channels. read less
