What does the @ symbol do in Excel? It keeps showing up as =, why is this happening?

@ sign informs excel that the word written next to it is an excel function. For example @sum. However, when you type this way Excel converts it to the equal to sign"=" to represent the formula.

Suppose our Customer requires following:

An Excel Software for POS, with following functionalities:

  1. It should have an "Open List" for capturing product related information.
  2. It should have automatic bill numbering
  3. It should have Printable bill
  4. It should have a customer database form and recording
  5. It should take not more than 30 minutes of training to learn and operate

Can you make that?
