My background is in Chemistry, Nanomaterials, and Nanomedicine. I completed my Ph.D. from in 2024 with research focused on “Synthesis, Characterization, and Application of Carbon Quantum Dots-based Nanomaterials.”
My research experience includes the synthesis of carbon quantum dots (CQDs) and nanocomposites from plant waste materials using green and hydrothermal methods. I have worked on applications such as photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes, heavy metal ion sensing, bioimaging, and nanomaterial-based environmental remediation. I have also developed nanocomposites including CQDs/ZnO and CQDs/PANI and characterized them using techniques such as FTIR, XRD, XPS, SEM, TEM, UV-Vis spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and electrochemical analysis.
I have published fifteen research articles in national and international journals, with additional manuscripts under communication. My research interests include photocatalysis, sensing, bioimaging, protein binding, and eco-friendly carbon-based nanomaterials for environmental and biomedical applications.
In teaching, I worked as an Assistant Lecturer (Chemistry) at Modern New Sainik Senior Secondary School, Moradabad, and later as an Assistant Professor (Visiting Faculty, B.Voc.) at the Community College of . These roles helped me develop experience in classroom teaching, laboratory instruction, student mentoring, and academic coordination.
