I teach Bharatanatyam, the classical Indian dance form, to students of all age groups. Over the past 5 years, I have helped my students develop a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, and expression while fostering a love for this traditional art form. My approach blends discipline with enjoyment, ensuring students feel confident and inspired during their learning journey.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Bharatanatyam, which has provided me with comprehensive knowledge of the dance form, including its theory, technique, and performance aspects. Beyond formal education, I have trained under experienced gurus, refining my practical skills and developing a teaching methodology that emphasizes both precision and creativity.

Teaching Bharatanatyam has taught me that dance is much more than physical movements—it is an intricate combination of rhythm, expression, and storytelling. I focus on ensuring that my students not only master the steps but also grasp the deeper meanings and cultural significance embedded in each performance.

My teaching philosophy combines practical training with theoretical learning. I guide students through the historical and spiritual aspects of Bharatanatyam, helping them understand the origins, symbolism, and emotions behind every gesture. This holistic approach ensures they develop both skill and artistry.

I have been honored with the Sharada Award and Nalanda Excellence Award, which recognize my contribution to preserving and teaching classical dance. These accolades inspire me to continue imparting high-quality dance education with dedication and passion.

Classes are conducted both online and offline, with structured lessons tailored to each student’s level. I provide a 7-year diploma course in Bharatanatyam, covering in-depth practical training, theoretical knowledge, and preparation for examinations and performances. Students completing this course receive certification that validates their learning and proficiency.

My ultimate goal as a Bharatanatyam teacher is to instill discipline, cultural appreciation, and confidence in every student. By nurturing both technique and expression, I aim to keep the legacy of this timeless art alive for future generations.
