The most underutilized feature in Microsoft Excel is the shortcut Ctrl+D. This shortcut copies the contents of the cell above the current cell to the current cell. However, if the above cell contains a formula with references to other cells, it does more than that. Another one is Format Painter allows you to copy formatting from one cell or group of cells to another. Select the formatted cell you want to copy. INDEX" and "MATCH" combination. These two functions can be used to perform complex lookups and can be a powerful alternative to the commonly used VLOOKUP function. read less

In my opinion the most underutilized feature in excel are Advance filter option,conditional formatting, advance pivot functions and power query which is an awesome ETL tool available in excel now.

Hi All,

My question is how to define age calculation in excel by formula?
Enter DOB in one cell. For example in Cell A1. Then in the cell where you want to calculate Age there write as =(TODAY()-A1)/365.25 .25 has been added to the 365 because to accommodate the leap year days in between.
