Yes- IF function can be used with both VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP. An example for VLOOKUP with IF: =IF(VLOOKUP(D1,$F$2:$G$10,2,FALSE)=0,"No","Yes") The above statement compares Vlookup's result with zero, and returns "No" if it is equal to 0, "Yes" otherwise.
