Siddhartha Tyagi

I teach Mathematics and Science to Class 10 students following the SSC curriculum, and Physics to Class 11 students. I have 2 years of teaching experience and enjoy helping students understand subjects that require both conceptual clarity and logical thinking. My approach is focused on making complex topics easier to understand while gradually building the confidence required to solve questions independently.

My academic and professional background is multidisciplinary. I have completed a Master of Laws (L.L.M.) and have also developed a strong foundation in Mathematics and Computing through my background with IIT. My professional experience includes software engineering, particularly Android development, as well as legal practice involving areas such as judicial review, administrative theory, and principles of natural justice. This diverse experience has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving approach, which I bring into my teaching as well.

In my classes, I follow a structured, interactive, and concept-based methodology. I begin with a clear lesson plan and first ensure that the fundamental concepts are understood before moving towards more advanced topics. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the class and actively participate rather than simply listen to the explanation. I believe that an interactive classroom helps students identify their doubts and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.

For Mathematics, Science, and Physics, I place strong emphasis on problem-solving and application-based learning. Instead of relying primarily on rote memorisation, I help students understand the reasoning behind formulas, concepts, and solutions. I use practical examples wherever possible so that students can relate what they learn in class to real-world situations and understand how different concepts are applied.

I conduct both online and offline classes and use tools such as PowerPoint presentations and a whiteboard to make my lessons more engaging and structured. Presentations help me organise concepts and explanations clearly, while the whiteboard allows me to work through equations, diagrams, numerical problems, and step-by-step solutions during the class. I use these methods depending on the topic and the learning requirements of the student.

I also regularly assess students' understanding through questions, practice problems, discussions, and interactive activities. These assessments help me identify areas where a student may need additional explanation or practice. I adapt my teaching pace and methodology according to each student's learning level, ensuring that students are not rushed through concepts before they are ready to move forward.

My goal as an educator is to make Mathematics, Science, and Physics logical, approachable, and easier to learn. I want my students to develop strong conceptual foundations, improve their problem-solving abilities, and become more confident when approaching challenging questions. Through structured lessons, practical applications, and consistent interaction, I aim to help students make steady academic progress while developing a genuine understanding of the subjects they study.
