Shweta Rastogi

I specialize in training students in Spoken English, Career Counselling, Personality Development, and competitive exam preparation, including IBPS, Bank Clerical Exams, SSC, UPSC, and IELTS. I also teach English to students from Classes 10 to 12. With over 23 years of teaching experience, my journey as an educator has been deeply rooted in helping learners achieve academic success while also preparing them for real-world professional challenges.

My academic background has played a significant role in shaping my teaching philosophy. I hold an MBA, M.Phil., M.Ed., and a Ph.D., which give me a strong foundation in both subject expertise and pedagogy. Alongside this, I am a Certified Soft Skills Trainer with Advanced Level C1 proficiency in English. I have also undergone professional training associated with UCLA, and I am a Certified Career Counselor, enabling me to guide students in making well-informed academic and career decisions. Currently, I am further strengthening my academic journey by pursuing an LLB.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching and mentoring students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. The love, trust, and affection I have received from my students remain the most rewarding part of my career. I take pride in my strong alumni network, where many of my former students have gone on to excel in competitive examinations, higher education, and professional careers across various fields.

My teaching methodology is structured yet flexible, always tailored to the learner’s goals and proficiency level. I focus on building strong fundamentals and then gradually advancing to higher-level concepts. My classes are highly interactive and practical-oriented, emphasizing real-life applications rather than rote learning. Role-plays, discussions, case studies, mock sessions, and continuous feedback form the core of my teaching approach, especially for Spoken English, personality development, and exam preparation.

I conduct both online and offline classes and make extensive use of PPTs, whiteboards, and structured lesson plans to ensure clarity and engagement. I provide comprehensive notes and learning materials in English grammar, along with practice exercises, assignments, and regular assessments to track progress. Each session is designed to build confidence, enhance communication skills, and ensure measurable improvement.

Interview skills training is an integral part of my courses. I conduct one-on-one mock interview sessions where students receive detailed feedback and targeted assignments to improve their communication, confidence, and presentation skills. This personalized mentoring approach has consistently helped students perform better in interviews and professional interactions.

Throughout my career, I have been honored with several awards and recognitions, including the Women Leadership Award for my contribution to education. I am a British Council Certified English Coach, and my work has received international recognition, with awards in Dubai and Singapore, along with recognition from the state government. Teaching international students has further enriched my global exposure and cross-cultural teaching experience, motivating me to continuously evolve as an educator and mentor.
