I am born and brought-up in Bangalore and after schooling, became a trained psycho-therapist in 1988.
I lived in Kerala from 1989 to 2002
I began teaching English in an ICSC school in Bharananganam, Kerala, way back in 1997. SInce my son was studying in that school, the principal admired my Spoken English skills so she requested me to teach standards 1 to 12. The principal made Spoken English a part of the curriculum in the syllabus. I taught there for 2 years.
Then I underwent a medical transcription and editors' training and I got involved in teaching English in other forms like listening, reading, writing, and speaking. I taught TOEFL English for a transcription institute in Kottayam, Kerala. Later I started my own medical transcription institute named Dei Gratia Info Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Here I was the training director and taught as well. It was a 6-month course, where I taught TOEFL, Spoken English, as well as other technical subjects.
I moved to Bangalore in 2002. For the past 12 years I have taught several nurses & other professionals to prepare them for the IELTS exam. From 2003 to 2008 I have given intensive coaching for professionals. They have received good scores. I have taught spoken English for reputed institutes like VETA, Speak Easy, English Center, and to others ranging from students to working professionals.
I have been teaching spoken English for 17 years until now, for age groups ranging from 6.
