Niya

I am a final-year MBBS student from Karnataka and teach Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics to students of Classes 11 and 12. Although I am a fresher as a tutor, my own academic journey has given me strong exposure to senior secondary science subjects and competitive examination preparation. I aim to make concepts simple, clear, and interactive so that students can understand them thoroughly and approach their examinations with greater confidence.
I have prepared for competitive examinations through self-study without relying on coaching. This experience has helped me develop a disciplined approach to studying, identifying important concepts, managing time, and practising questions independently. I understand the challenges students face when preparing for demanding examinations and aim to provide guidance that is practical and easy to follow.
My academic performance in competitive examinations reflects my strong foundation in the sciences. I secured a 98 percentile in JEE Chemistry, along with a score of 160 out of 180 in Chemistry in NEET. I also scored 170 out of 180 in Botany in NEET. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of Chemistry and Biology and helped me develop effective ways of approaching concepts and examination questions.
In my classes, I focus on making difficult topics easier to understand by breaking them down into simple and logical steps. I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and develop conceptual clarity instead of depending only on memorisation. I also try to connect concepts across topics wherever useful so that students can build a more organised understanding of their subjects.
For Classes 11 and 12, I can support students in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics according to their academic requirements. My approach includes concept explanation, question practice, doubt clearing, revision, and examination-focused preparation. I understand the importance of balancing conceptual understanding with regular practice, particularly for students preparing for competitive examinations.
I conduct my classes online and use PPT presentations and a whiteboard to make explanations more visual and organised. I keep my sessions interactive and adapt my explanations according to the student's level of understanding. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students can freely ask questions and gradually become more confident in tackling challenging topics.
As a medical student who has personally experienced the demands of competitive examination preparation through self-study, I bring a student-oriented perspective to my teaching. I aim to support students with clear explanations, practical study guidance, and consistent academic practice. Whether a student needs help strengthening fundamentals, understanding difficult concepts, or preparing for examinations, I strive to make each session focused, approachable, and effective.
