Ishan Pratim Baruah

I teach Mathematics to students from Class 5 to Class 12, and teaching has been a central part of my professional journey for over 15 years. Over the years, I have worked with students of varied learning abilities, helping them build a strong foundation in mathematics and develop confidence in approaching the subject without fear.

I hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mathematics along with a B.Ed., which has equipped me with both deep subject knowledge and effective pedagogical skills. My academic background allows me to explain mathematical concepts in a clear, structured, and logical manner, ensuring that students understand not just how to solve problems, but why each step matters.

Throughout my teaching career, I have helped many students overcome difficulties in mathematics, ranging from basic concepts to more advanced topics. I focus on strengthening fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, and guiding students to apply concepts accurately in exams. Seeing students grow more confident and independent in their learning has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my experience.

I follow a structured and student-centered teaching methodology. For every topic, I prepare a detailed lesson plan that ensures concepts are introduced gradually and explained systematically. My sessions are interactive, and I actively encourage students to ask questions, share their thought processes, and participate in problem-solving during the class.

I make it a point to connect mathematical concepts with practical examples and real-life applications wherever possible. This approach helps students relate better to the subject and makes learning more engaging and meaningful. I also adapt my teaching pace based on the individual student’s understanding, ensuring steady progress without pressure.

I conduct both online and offline classes and use tools such as PPTs and a digital whiteboard to enhance clarity during sessions. I also provide course materials that students can refer to for revision and practice. My goal is to help students build strong concepts, develop confidence in mathematics, and achieve consistent academic success through structured guidance and supportive teaching.
