Hello, I’m Mahendra, a Computer Science teacher with several years of classroom teaching experience, currently working with school and pre-university students.

I teach Computer Science and Computer Applications for students from different boards, including CBSE, ICSE, ISC and Karnataka State Board. My main areas are Java, Python, programming fundamentals, problem-solving, computer applications and school-level Computer Science.

I have completed my BCA and MCA and have experience teaching students from different age groups and learning levels. I currently teach ICSE Computer Applications using Java and BlueJ, and Computer Science for PU students using Python. I have also worked with CBSE students, so I understand that every board has its own syllabus, question pattern and examination requirements.

My teaching approach is simple: I first make sure the student understands the concept, and then we move towards coding, practice questions and exam-oriented preparation. I do not believe in asking students to simply memorise programs. I encourage them to understand how and why a program works so that they can solve new questions on their own.

For programming, I usually explain the logic step by step, write the program with the student, test it, identify errors and then give similar problems for practice. For school examinations, I also focus on important theory questions, programming questions, previous-style questions, revision and time management.

I try to keep my classes friendly and interactive so that students feel comfortable asking questions, even if they are starting from the basics. I also adjust the pace according to the student's level rather than following the same approach for everyone.

My goal is not just to help a student score marks in one examination, but to make Computer Science easier to understand and build a strong foundation in programming.
