A music education major at the Hans Academy allows you to pursue a rewarding career as a music educator.
At Hans Academy, students have the opportunity to participate in numerous performing organizations offered on campus and gain hands-on experience in the classroom through student observation, pre-student teaching and student teaching.
Students will demonstrate the ability to select the best methods and materials for meeting the objectives of the learning experience.
Students will acquire and demonstrate the ability to compose and/or improvise at a basic level in one or more musical languages.
