I have been teaching Bharatanatyam, Carnatic vocal music, and freestyle dance for the past six years, working with students of different age groups and skill levels. My passion for both dance and music has been the driving force behind my teaching journey, and I strive to create a learning environment where students can express themselves while building strong foundational skills.

I am formally trained and certified in both dance and music. I hold a degree from Sri Sathguru Sangeetha Vidyalayam, where I completed my Master’s in Music (M.A.) along with Teacher Training in music. This academic background has given me a deep understanding of classical techniques, rhythm, and expression, which I incorporate into my teaching.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to guide many students in Bharatanatyam, Carnatic vocal, and freestyle dance. I focus on nurturing both technical precision and artistic expression, ensuring that students not only learn the art form but also connect with it emotionally. My sessions are designed to gradually build confidence, discipline, and stage presence.

I have also been involved in conducting performances, workshops, and training sessions, which have helped my students gain practical exposure. These experiences play an important role in developing their confidence and giving them a platform to showcase their talent. Seeing my students perform and grow has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my journey.

My teaching approach is simple, patient, and adaptable. I understand that every student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my methods accordingly to ensure that each learner feels comfortable and supported. I focus on building a strong foundation in basics, which is essential for mastering any classical art form.

In my classes, I emphasize regular practice, rhythm, posture, and expression, especially in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music. At the same time, I encourage creativity and freedom of expression through freestyle dance, allowing students to explore their own style and individuality.

I offer both online and offline classes, making learning accessible and flexible for students. My aim is to continue sharing my knowledge and passion for dance and music while helping students grow into confident performers and well-rounded artists.
