Hariharan Venkateshwaran - UPSC / TNPSC / CSAT / Indian Polity / Current Affairs

My journey to civil services has been a little unconventional. I studied Business Administration and Law at SASTRA University before moving to the Netherlands, where I completed my LL.M. in International and European Law at the University of Amsterdam, specialising in European Competition Law and Regulation.
During my time in Amsterdam, I also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Amsterdam and later worked professionally in legal and business consulting. After spending several years in the Netherlands, I returned to India and decided to pursue something I had wanted to seriously attempt - the Civil Services Examination.
I appeared for UPSC CSE 2026 and scored 118 in CSAT based on the UPSC answer key. I am currently continuing my own UPSC preparation while also preparing for TNPSC, so I understand the preparation process from the student's side as well — the enormous syllabus, endless resources, confusing PYQs and the constant question of “What exactly should I study?”
My legal background naturally makes 'Indian Polity and Constitutional Law', one of my strongest and favourite areas to teach. I particularly enjoy taking something that initially looks complicated - an Article, judgment, constitutional institution or CSAT problem - and breaking it down until it becomes surprisingly simple.
