If you want to have a promising career in the IT field, then, first of all, you should have taken some technical course so that the employer is well convinced that you have good problem solving and analytical skills. You can go for courses like B.Sc. (Mathematics), BCA, etc. These courses will help you get minimum exposure to the IT field; else, you'll get only freelance work and not a permanent good job.
Once you are enrolled in a course curriculum, you always have to study apart and put in extra effort to excel in this field.
