Yes you can score great marks in 12th without coaching. I think it is very normalised to join some or the other coaching classes while preparing in your high school or preparing for NEET/JEE. Do you thing the syllabus of MBBS/Engineering is easy. No, it is absolutely on another level.
So, I would suggest you that during your class 11 you would have been sure as to what subjects are your weak or you are comfortable with, if there are any. Then focus on those more. Devote yourself to those subjects and ask your batchmates for some guidance.

Hey.
To answer the question, the usage of word give or take depends upon the position of the receiver. If the person is on the receiving end of tuition, for that person the correct answer is I TAKE TUITION. But if any other person is on the delivering side for him the correct answer is I GIVE TUITION.
